In recent years we see more and more different approaches, frameworks, methods, principles, popping up in daily life. The Covid pandemic shifted a lot of human resources into virtual environment. This has positive and negative effects. One of the negatives is that the cyber crime has significantly increased. The academy believes this trend will keep going into the same direction and thus is important everyone to better understand the risks of virtual environments. The academy considers the information security will be a key aspect for the project management in the future.

A lot of organizations underestimate project management and information security. One of the reasons is that they don’t see direct value. We might argue on this if the value is direct or indirect but it’s a fact, that the project management does bring value to the organization. The proper project management ensures the temporary endeavour is managed according to worldwide best practices.
